Project of the day. Thread-sketched design on calico, with camelia fabric flower applique. Then I sewed it up into a bag (done in 50 minutes, not counting the cutting of cloth). Today’s experiment made me realize that calico is too thin as an external fabric…and that I have to work on my machine sewing.
